The Project
OpticalMedia were approached by our long term client London South East Colleges to devise, produce and stream the inaugural virtual awards show for their charity, Good for Me, Good for FE.
The awards celebrate Further Education stakeholders across the UK, recognising their achievements in areas such as volunteering, outstanding service and charity work, interspersed with speeches from College Senior Leadership figures.
The awards would be viewed by industry partners & leaders so it was a top priority to ensure the viewing experience was as professional and sleek as possible. As the inaugural event, it needed to stand out.
Highlights of the 2023 Awards
Alongside full production, we created eye-catching graphics, devised interactive elements with winners and the audience, provided a memorable professional presenter, script editing and pre-recorded segments.
We also created a dedicated webpage to stream the event, with an interactive chat box for the audience to cheer on and support winners. During the live show, we added these audience messages to the presenters script, bringing the audience into the conversation for out. Live winners also joined the stream to celebrate their awards.
